Alumni

The Acadiana Treatment Center’s Alumni Association boasts many members who are committed to supporting patients in addiction treatment programs.

Alumni are available to talk with patients and families new to recovery to support and reinforce the 12-Step programs, and to help bridge the gap between treatment and the outside (real) world.

Numerous former patients have told us that talking to someone who had success in recovery made all the difference in their lives. They enjoy gathering together at least twice a year: at the spring crawfish boil and at the annual Holiday party. There is good food, live music, dancing, fabulous door prizes and a good time had by all.  We celebrate both their sobriety and the joyous season.

As a testimony, there are even alumni who, after several years of completing treatment, still attend our Continuing Care group, reaching out to newly sober graduates and encouraging them in their recovery.

A Foundation for Recovery

At Acadiana Treatment Center, we aim to help each client attain a thorough understanding of the concerns they're facing and learn how to find relief. Our treatment focuses on thorough education and employs proven methods of individualized treatment.

Acadiana is beautiful. You can tell that everyone there really cares.
