Acadiana Addiction Center was founded by a small group of addiction professionals in order to meet a chronic and desperate need for alcohol and drug treatment services. For more than 20 years, these dedicated professionals have continuously devoted their careers in the development and implementation of treatment programs which have now evolved into a full service addiction recovery center.
Assessment and Treatment
Before admission to any of the Addiction programs, patients undergo a comprehensive assessment of their physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and family needs to determine the most appropriate level of care. These levels include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Residential, Partial Hospitalization, Extended Residential Care, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Treatment.
Through the detox process and on into continuing care we provide a positive environment to help addicts and alcoholics meet their personal recovery needs and goals.
Our Staff provides a caring and nurturing environment where physical detoxification and treatment for psychological dependence can be helped. A personalized recovery plan is developed for each patient based on the proven methods of medicine, psychiatry and psychotherapy: combined with the time test 12-Step program of AA and NA. Our team meets regularly to review each patient’s progress and to update treatment goals.
