Alumni Association
The Steering Committee for Acadiana Addiction Center’s Alumni Association has more than 100 members who are committed to supporting patients in the adult addiction programs. Alumni are available to talk with patients and families new to recovery, support and reinforce the 12-Step programs, and help bridge the gap between treatment, and the outside world. Many former patients have told us that talking to someone who had experienced success in recovery made all the difference.
The association is active in the recovering community year round, and regularly sponsors speaker meetings, family events, parties and retreats.
Continuing Care - ( Up to 2 Years )
Acadiana Addiction Center feels that a network for support is essential to a successful program of recovery. Our trained professionals will help the individual combine their newly gained knowledge and skills to maintain a healthy recovering lifestyle.
Continuing Care is offered to patients who have successfully completed an intensive level of therapy. It is recommended that patients stay with this level of care for a period of two (2) years and are welcomed in the Continuing Care Program for as long as they may need.
