Continuing Care

Acadiana Addiction Center outlines a written, structured plan to provide support individuals returning home from treatment. Staff recommendations, as well as patients’ individual plans, are incorporated into the continuing care plan. This vital transition helps bridge higher levels of care, to reliance on the recovering 12 step community. This phase of therapy also helps patients and their family members extend and solidify gains made in treatment. Continuing care is offered to patients who have successfully completed treatment.

It is recommended that patients stay with this level of care for a period of two (2) years and are welcome in Continuing Care group for as long as they may need.
