Our highly rated residential program involves a thirty to ninety day inpatient stay on our beautiful campus, where you can relax and focus your attention on what’s most important – getting sober. The length of your stay with us will be determined after we’re able to assess your specific needs. We want to make sure that you’re ready to re-enter the world after you leave Acadiana, so the length of time you’ll be with us will vary among individuals. You’ll begin your rehab treatment in a medically monitored therapeutic environment where we’re able to monitor your medical, psychological, and security needs around the clock. We’ll make sure that you always have someone to lean on when you need us most.
The primary focus of our residential program is to help you to become emotionally stable, learn more about the disease of addiction, learn and develop recovery skills and resources, and adopt principles of recovery.
When you come to us, you’ll work with your treatment team to create a plan of care for your stay. As we are a holistic rehab center, we’re focused on treating all of you – mind, body, and spirit. You’ll be assigned an individual counselors to monitor your progress as you meet – and exceed – identified treatment plan goals. As you near the end of your residential treatment, we’ll work with you to develop a continuing care plans, to ensure that there are no lapses in treatment and recovery. That may mean moving to another program with Acadiana, such as our PHP or IOP, or a discharge plan into your local community.
We know that no one lives in a vacuum and we understand that addiction is a family disease. Acadiana Addiction Center recognizes the importance of family involvement in your treatment and recovery process. Family members and significant others are encouraged to participate in weekly educational programs so they can see the positive changes you make. Your loved ones will be scheduled to come to the Acadiana Addiction Center for several days and take part in structured educational and family counseling sessions.
